Gail Mayfield reports that Kenny Brown with the Hardeman County Solid Waste plans to have the convenience center up and running by mid-November. There will be a “shoulder-high” red box for only bagged trash. If the volume increases sufficiently, he plans to install a larger container later and build a ramp along its side. Hours will be posted on the gate. Residents need to use the facility and encourage their neighbors to use it, too.
