Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. The weather was nice for the weekend. We had our annual girls shopping trip on Saturday. We got some Christmas shopping done. Well, I can say started! We had fun as usual and enjoyed a little rest during lunch.
Enough about Christmas already! Thanksgiving is next week, my favorite holiday. We are usually ready for turkey and dressing and all the trimmings, family gatherings, football and all those desserts. We all sit at the table after lunch, passing around the Black Friday sale circulars and trying to decide where to go first to get those special deals. That is a tradition for us every Thanksgiving! I truly hope everyone gets to spend it with family. Remember those who may be alone and shut in. It would be nice to share a plate with them. We have so much to be thankful for everyday. We are so blessed!
Please continue prayers for Linda and Christy Phillips, Jean Crowell, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Niecie Pearson, Jo Marie Holmes, Danny and Janice Keen, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Doris Weeks, Florence Stublaski, Baby Kohen Garrard, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Novelee Massengill, Harold James, Neal Brewer, Ann Vanhoose, Tim Harris, Roger and Sue Henson. Please pray for those who have lost loved ones, our nursing home families, our military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders, our country and, as always, each other.
Enville sends Happy Birthday wishes to Jerry O’Neal on Nov. 23 and Cheri Hutcherson and Tommy Wade on Nov. 24. Happy Anniversary to Blair and Leslie Weaver on Nov. 26. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
The Enville Cattlemen’s Cafe is for sale. It can be a grocery store/cafe combination. If you or someone you know would be interested, please call Jackey Bethune at 608-6406. We miss our breakfast gathering place and our Friday night specials of good food and fellowship.
If you have news to share, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
