Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. The weather has been pretty nice with some rain Thursday night and Friday. I think it is going to be nice for Thanksgiving Day, partly sunny with a slight chance of rain. Maybe it will miss us so that the kids can be outside throwing the football or playing basketball. I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful lunch at Danny’s sister’s house on Sunday and a great Thanksgiving Song and Praise Service and meal at church Sunday night. We really enjoyed the food and fellowship!
My calendar for December is pretty full already. Remember the Henderson Christmas Parade is at 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
Happy birthday wishes go to Rachel Gilham on Nov. 29, Rick Ooley on Dec. 1 and Linda Wade and Jim R. Vest on Dec. 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for the family of Robert Freeman. Also, continue prayers for Jean Crowell, Linda and Christy Phillips, Mary Lee Guyon, Agnes Smith, Florence Stublaski, Jo Marie Holmes, Niecie Pearson, Danny and Janice Keen, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Baby Kohen Garrard, Baby Addilyn Finley, Doris Weeks, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Novelee Massengill, Harold James, Tim Harris, Neal Brewer, Ann Vanhoose, Roger and Sue Henson, those who have lost loved ones, nursing home families, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders and military families and, as always, each other.
The Enville Cafe/Store is for sale. If you or know someone who might be interested, call Jackey Bethune at 608-6406.
