Eagles defeat Riverside; fall to Jackson South Side

The Chester County Eagles had a win over Decatur County Riverside on Tuesday Jan. 21 and beat them 51-47.
The kids were focused from the tip and came out and played hard,” Head Coach Kody Howard said.
Howard said that the team’s defense efforts is what caused them to leave with the “W.”
Their next game was against Jackson South Side. Jackson South Side being undefeated with a record of 21-0 beat the Eagles 84-56, however there was still some positives that can be pulled from the game.
South Side made their dunks last night, but the Eagles were able to get one as well after Will Brown slammed one in.
Dalton Colbert also made a mark in the game after laying up three-pointers from almost every position around the three-point line.
He scored eight three’s and had a total of 28 points Friday night.
