Renee Phelps of Chester County was the Governor Volunteer Award Adult Honoree. The program of the ceremony describes her as a “tireless volunteer, giving her time, energy and resources.” In 2017, Phelps received the Jackson Area Business and professional Women Sterling Award as one of the 20 most influential women in West Tennessee. Past-president and 16 Board of Directors member of the Henderson-Chester County Chamber of Commmerce, Phelps chairs the board’s annual fundraiser. She finds time to volunteer for the BBQ Festival, Henderson Christmas Parade, West Tennessee Go Red for Dinner and the Rein-bow Riding Academy/HIPPO Therapy Program. In 2018, she was named the chamber’s Volunteer of the Year. Phelps also serves on the Carl Perkins for the Prevention of Child Abuse Advisory Board, the county Career and Technology Board, the Relay for Life committee and Henderson Industrial Board.
Roger “Ben” Arnold was the youth recipient. Arnold is a senior at Chester County High School. At CCHS, he stands with a 4.0 while serving as an Executive in Beta Club, President of Future Business Leaders of America, President of History Bowl, Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta, Secretary of the Class of 2020, a member of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Football Tech Team.

Roger “Ben” Arnold was named the Youth Recipient. He is a senior at Chester County High School.
