The Chester County Junior High baseball team started off their season strong this year with a 2-0 record after victories against Bolivar (7-2) and Trinity Christian Academy (4-1).
The game against TCA was tough for both teams at the beginning.
The Eagles scored the first run in the bottom of the first after an RBI made by Jayce Goff.
Then TCA responded and got a run in the third.
After that, both teams were not able to get a run in until the Eagles picked up some momentum in the fourth inning and brought three runners in.
Dean Estes proved himself on the mound that game.
He pitched for 2 innings with 3 strikeouts and preventing the other team from getting either a run or a hit.
