HENDERSON, Tenn. – In the American Midwest Conference Game of the Week, the No. 13 Lady Lions (20-5, 17-2 AMC) won their 10th straight game by taking down Williams Baptist (16-8, 12-7 AMC) 74-43 on Saturday afternoon.
It was all Lady Lions from the start, shooting 41 percent from the field while holding the Eagles to just 27 percent shooting.
The second half was similar to the first with FHU’s defense smothering Williams Baptist and turning it into points on the way to the lopsided win.
Haylee Croom showed out with 28 points on 14-of-20 shooting and 12 rebounds for her 17 double-double of the season.
Caroline Chambers had a strong outing with 12 points, and Reagen Floyd rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 points. Alyssa LeMay finished with 11 rebounds.
