FHU Basketball teams enter post season: Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions take out Hornets in season finale

The No. 14 Lady Lions (24-6, 21-3 AMC) knocked off Harris-Stowe (8-20, 7-17 AMC) 79-57 in their final regular-season game on Saturday afternoon.
It was all FHU from the jump behind Alyssa LeMay’s 18 first-half points. She would go on to score 24 points and add a career-high 14 rebounds.
Haylee Croom finished with her league-leading 22nd double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. KJ White finished with 18 points and five assists.
The Lady Lions finish will head into the AMC Tournament today as the No. 2 seed behind Lyon College. They will host the No. 7 seed Missouri Baptist at 7 p.m. today.
