There will be a mandatory meeting for all those participating in the TN Promise at 5:30 p.m. March 16. Be sure to bring the green handbook and a pencil or pen when attending. You must attend this meeting for the entire duration to remain eligible. Eight hours of service are due to tnAchieves.org by July 1 to remain eligible. If you are enrolling in a TCAT school and will attend the summer program, your service hours are due by April 1.
Congratulations to Rilee Kat Vest and Tori Catlett for being selected as delegates for Girls’ State and to Riley Bland, Riley Haltom, Luke Hunt and Solomon Smith with alternatives of Luke Noles and Ethan Termuhlen. We are proud of all our nominees and those who represented our school!
Jacob Rush represented Chester County well in the Tennessee High School Rodeo Association event at Triple P Arena by placing fourth in the team roping competition. Well done!
The website to order yearbooks is www.yearbookforever.com. We also will accept cash or checks at school for $100. After Friday, March 13, the price rises to $120.
Juniors and seniors can now purchase prom tickets for an early bird special of $60. After Spring Break, the price will return to $70. Tickets are sold in the cafeteria.
Spring Break is March 22-28.
Cheer tryouts will be held at the Chester County High School gym starting at 3:30 p.m. March 17-20. Please see Mrs. Stewart or Mrs. Teague for a tryout packet. A brief meeting for anyone trying out for cheerleading will be held at the CCHS cafeteria at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 11. A parent or another family member must attend with all students trying out. This meeting date was originally set for March 16 in the information packet, but it has been moved to the due to a scheduling conflict.
