Tommy Murley, who set up the Silerton—Photographs from the Past Facebook page, writes, “The Facebook page has made us realize that Silerton may be a dot on the map to some, but to us this beautiful place has no borders. Silerton’s expanse in memory stretches across our country and beyond. Capturing the special moments, memories, and precious words describing Silerton will not be forgotten. I am sure of this because of the loved ones that follow behind us. They will continue describing Silerton’s rich past. They will pass their precious memories to their children and then add our memories and stories. Silerton’s blood runs through our veins and will flow through their veins continuing until the end of time.” He invites members to continue to add photos and memories so that Silerton will stay alive longer than we could have ever dreamed.
I would appreciate if you would call and share some of your news and thoughts or memories so we can stay connected.
