The Chester County High School Valedictorian for the class of 2020 is Lillie McCarver. She is the daughter of Suzanne and Brian McCarver. McCarver has a 4.0 GPA with a cumulative percentage of 99.75. She has been accepted with academic scholarships opportunities at both Union University and the University of Memphis at Lambuth. She is trying to decide on which school she will attend to continue her education, working towards a biology degree.
“We are extremely proud of Lillie for all of her hard work. She is an amazing young lady, and we feel very blessed to be her parents,” Brian and Suzanne said.
The salutatorian of the class is Claire Maxon. She is the daughter of Heather Maxon and Derek Maxon. Maxon has a 4.0 GPA and a cumulative percentage of 99.68.
She plans to attend Union University. She has not decided on what to study in college yet. While at Union though, she will continue her athletic career in soccer and possibly basketball as well.
“I am very proud of Claire for all of her accomplishments and achievements, Heather Maxon said. “Claire is hard working, dedicated and driven. It is an honor to be her mother, and I look forward to her future. I know she will be successful.”
“What most people recognize in Claire is her academic achievements, like becoming Salutatorian, as well as her athletic career at Chester County High School. While I am proud of her for these amazing accomplishments, I am most proud of Claire’s commitment to doing the right thing and always sticking to her morals and beliefs,” Derek Maxon said.
