Friday wreck leaves one dead

A collision on Highway 100 between a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and 2008 Nissan on Friday, April 3 caused the death of a Henderson resident. The other people involved in the wreck were uninjured. 

A Chester County man died Friday morning in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Hwy 100 and Glendale Road.
Three others were reportedly uninjured in the incident.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Shawn Venable, was driving east on Hwy 100 at approximately 10 a.m. Friday, when he came to a stop, to turn onto Glendale Road. Vehicle number two, a 2008 Nissan Frontier driven by 65-year-old Thomas Taylor of Henderson failed to stop, and struck the rear of the Chevrolet, resulting in Taylor’s death.
