Weekend wreck claims four, one critically injured in Chester County

The Chester County community gathered on Sunday, May 17, in the loss of Chester County High School students Kaylee Daniel, Cayla Lenon and Roselyn Roberts, and CCHS 2016 grad Tyler Stablein and prayed for Kristen Daniel’s recovery from the wreck that occurred Saturday, May 16. Prayers were said in the CCHS gym and balloons were released on the football field afterward.

Chester County mourns the loss of four young lives after a wreck occurred on Highway 200 at about 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
According to an updated Tennessee Highway Patrol’s report, driver Tyler Stablein, 22, and driver Kaylee Daniel, 16, were traveling on Highway 200 when both vehicles collided with one another in an offset head-on collision. Passengers with Kaylee were Cayla Lenon, 16; Roselyn Roberts, 17; and Kristen Daniel, 14.
The crash resulted in the death of Kaylee, Lenon, Roberts and Stablein.
Kristen remains in critical condition in the ICU at the Med in Memphis.
Funeral service dates are as follows: Cayla Lenon, May 20; Roselyn Roberts, May 23, Tyler Stablein, May 23. Service scheduling for Kaylee Daniel were incomplete as of Tuesday.
The current report as of Tuesday, May 19 states no alcohol was involved in the incident.
Roberts and Stablein were reportedly not wearing seatbelts.
The crash is still under investigation.
