Baylor University names Freed-Hardeman University instructor Loren Warf Outstanding Graduate


Baylor University has presented Loren Warf, an English instructor at Freed-Hardeman University, with the Charles G. Smith Award for being the Outstanding Graduate Student in English for the 2019-2020 year.
Warf graduated from FHU in 2008 with a degree in English. After working for several years at Pepperdine University, she began graduate study at Baylor University where she is currently a doctoral candidate in English with an emphasis in Victorian literature.
“This is a tremendous honor,” Dr. C.J. Vires, FHU vice president for academics, said. “I congratulate Loren for this outstanding accomplishment.”
