Hello from Enville!
I hope everyone had a great week. Summer begins this month, but I think the temperatures have beat it here. I am not complaining though. I thought all those little “winters” would never pass. I did not think the hummingbirds would ever get here. I had one or two for the longest time, but THEY GOT HERE. Now, I have 15 to 20. You definitely can not count them. I have four feeders up, and I just bought a 25 pound bag of sugar at Sam’s yesterday. Maybe it will last a little while. Danny and I sit out every morning, drinking our coffee and watching them. We really enjoy it.
Dixie Youth softball and baseball games have begun. Tryouts for Junior High baseball were held on Monday and Tuesday nights. Blake, Brayden and Reece were so ready to play ball. Reece is also playing travel ball. They played last Saturday and will play this Saturday in Corinth. We are looking forward to watching her and the boys.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Don Willis on June 5, Kelli Frank on June 7 and Sarah Canaday and Miranda Weeks on June 10. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Lisa Bishop, Charlie Kent, Jean Crowell, Agnes Smith, Linda Phillips, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Christy Phillips, Mary Lee Guyon, Niecie Pearson, Jo Marie Holmes, Florence Stublaski, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Genny Sue Martin, Doris Weeks, Kristen Daniel, Ann Vanhoose, Dennis Harwell, Steve Denbow, Tim Harris, Novelee Massengill, Neal Brewer, our firefighters, first responders, medical personnel and law enforcement and, as always, each other. Please pray for our nation. It is in a terrible state right now. There is so much violence, turmoil and senseless loss of life and businesses. I was always taught that two wrongs do not make a right. Let us pray to God for all this nonsense and hate to end soon!
