“Everyone’s grief, like everyone’s love, is different. Accepting that will help you find peace.”
Sympathy is expressed to the families of David C. Ray (12-30-45 to 6-22-20) – Ridgecrest; Sandra Lynn Kennedy Lott (6-26-60 to 6-18-20), wife of Tillman living in Florida till moving to Jackson – Clarks Creek; and Janie Mai White died 6-19-20 – memorial.
Prayer is requested for Regina East and Emma Hopper, and continue prayers for Kristen Daniel and Murdell Barker who is improving.
Prayer is greatly requested for the U.S.A; President Donald Trump and his staff; our military; our law enforcement and soldiers on foreign soil. God bless America is requested daily in prayer, so we can continue to live in peace and freedom. Most important we need to remember the quote by Abraham Lincoln, “The Government shall be of the people, for the people and by the people and shall not perish from this earth.”
President Ronald Reagan said, “Government’s first duty is to protect its citizens not run their lives.” And Morning Dove said, “Everything on Earth has a purpose, every disease an herb to cure it, and every person a mission. This is the Indian Theory of Existence.”
I read a sign, “Diapers and politicians should be changed often for the same reasons.”
Tenderly remember Bernard and JoAn Cooper McKinnon are celebrating 64 anniversary years in heaven on June 27.
Tidbits: June 20, 1975, the movie, Jaws was released; June 22, 1944 – President Franklin Roosevelt signed G.I. Bill; June 25, 1947 – the book, The Diary of Anne Frank, was released; April 1, 1945 to June 22, 1945 – Battle of Okinawa during World War II – U.S. lost 12,500 and 35,000 were wounded under Lieutenant General Simon Bolivar Buckner. He was killed by Japanese on June 18; June 25, 2009 – Michael Jackson died; June 25, 2009 – Actress Farrah Fawcett died; and June 26, 2002 – United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that the “Pledge of Allegiance” could not be recited in schools because it violated the First Amendment’s prohibition against a state endorsement of religion. It is a salute to our country and a promise to be a good U.S.A. citizen. Freedom will not be taken for granted. Each American should remember countless men, women and children who died during wars while we live in peace. What is happening?
VISION 2020 – “Today is going to be a Great Day.”
