Freed-Hardeman trustees welcome Curt Zondervan to board


The Freed-Hardeman University Board of Trustees added a new member at their July 2020 meeting. Curt Zondervan, Hudsonville, Mic., is the newest member of the board.
Zondervan, a 1996 summa cum laude graduate of Freed-Hardeman, is the owner of Zondervan Recognition LLC in Grandville, Mic. He is a former member of the Grandville Calvin Christian Schools Board and currently serves on the event board of Bethany Christian Services, a non-profit organization that works to strengthen families for the well-being of children.
He is also an elder and Bible class teacher at the Grandville Church of Christ.
Zondervan and his wife, the former Shannon Chamblee who graduated from FHU in 1995, have three children: Emma, Anna and Jack.
The FHU Board of Trustees is the university’s governing body. The mission of Freed-Hardeman University is to help students develop their God-given talents for His glory by empowering them with an education that integrates Christian faith, scholarship and service. With locations in Henderson, Memphis and Dickson, Tennessee, FHU offers bachelor’s, master’s, specialist’s and doctoral degrees.
