Chester County Junior High School Football starts with a win over Hardin Co.


On the evening of Thursday, Aug. 27, the Chester County Junior High Football team traveled to Hardin County and defeated them on their own turf 26-6.
Head Coach Chad Hanna said the team played very well on both sides of the ball. On offense, the team managed to gain a total of 245 yards. The defense gave up a score, but keeping them to that score was still a feat with the two interceptions they had. Other highlights during the game include recovering a fumble and an onside kick. Offensive and defensive leaders were brothers Cole and Drake Craddock. Cole led the offense with 85 receiving yards with two touchdown plus 37 rushing yards. Drake led the defense by having seven tackles and an interception.
