Bobby and Inetha Robison celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

Bobby and Inetha Robison was married on Sept. 3, 1955, when both of them were only 16 years old. They spoke about that time: “We did not have a car, no job and no place to live. We got Raymond Smith to drive us to Corinth, Miss., to get married.” Mrs. Robison said, “I remember Bobby was so nervous, when they told him to sign his name, he signed my name instead.” They continued, “We lived with Bobby’s family, with Molene and Pap, for the first several years. We moved several times; we would move to help them gather their crops and then go somewhere else. I remember we did not electricity; we would set up all night playing cards by a coil oil lamp.” Talking about their anniversary this year, Inetha said, “65 years, whew that is a long time you know it?”
