Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. My goodness! Another month has come and gone. October is here already, and I can not believe it!
Well, I did get my fall decorations out and got everything decorated inside and out. I love looking at the beautiful colors. Everywhere we go I look and admire everyone’s yard and porch decor. Fall is a beautiful time of year, and I enjoy the things that comes with it – cooler temperatures, changing leaves, pull-overs and sweaters. We will be taking blankets to the remainder of the Chester County Junior High football games. Thursday night will be eighth grade night where they recognize the eighth graders during halftime.
It is good to see Jim Wade in town for a few days. He shows up occasionally to work on his farm. Maybe next time, Donna can come with him. Hopefully, the whole family can come for a visit on Thanksgiving. It is always good to see you all.
Linda Phillips and Robert Johnson will be married at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Enville United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to our granddaughter Reece Collins and Matthew Maness on Oct. 3, Florence Stublaski on Oct. 6 and Tera O’Neal on Oct. 8. Happy Anniversary to Jimmy and Holly Robertson on Oct. 7. We hope you all enjoy your special day! There are so many folks on our birthday calendar who are no longer with us, and we surely miss them!
Please pray for the Bobbie Jones family and continue prayers for Jean Crowell, Agnes Smith, Linda Phillips, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Inez Cash, Genny Sue Martin, Ann Vanhoose, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice Keen, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Lisa Bishop, Dean Hutcherson, Dennis Harwell, Kristen Daniel, Jo Marie Holmes, Janet Scott, Amanda Johnson, Imogene Hollin, Brother Bill Evans, Dwayne Seaton, Jr., Tim Harris, Wayne Bethune, Nona and Dwayne Seaton, all those affected by the COVID-19, those who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, healthcare workers and law enforcement and, as always, each other. We are happy to report that Annie Massengill’s is doing well.
If you have news to share, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.

Turn that frown upside down and have a blessed week everyone!
