The Chester County Lady Eagles played a hard-fought game against Dyersburg for the first round of the regional tournament, but they were not able to win to advance. The final score was 4-2. The team still had a great season despite the loss. Though they faced hardships before and during the season, they still were able to win the district title.
“I knew when they came in as freshmen that they were going to be something special, and they didn’t disappoint,” said head coach Jason Judd. “It’s been a great four years with them.”
The team left the field as friends that were like family, and that is what Judd tries to instill in the players.
“That’s the atmosphere that we try to nurture out here. We try to make it a family. They bonded, and I believe they see each other as family.”
