Freed-Hardeman Lions finish unbeaten in Montgomery

The Freed-Hardeman Lions (3-0) capped off a perfect weekend in the Christian College Classic after a 77-65 win over Florida College (4-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams got off to a slow start in the first half, but the Lions were able to edge out the Falcons to take a five-point lead into the break.
The offense picked back up in a strong way in the final 20 minutes for the Lions, outshooting Florida College 45 percent to 34 percent.
Kortland Martin made his presence known offensively, especially in the second half, tallying 17 points to lead the Lions.
Freshmen Jon Moore and Ryley McClaran had strong outings, posting 13 points and 12 points, respectively. Moore added seven rebounds in the contest.
Both John Musselwhite and Francis Agbata finished with 10 points, and Musslewhite nearly had the double-double with nine rebounds.
