John Everett “Animal” Ayers, 67, of Henderson died Dec. 29, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born Jan. 3, 1953 in Eastport, Maine, the son of the late Everett and Gertrude Pulk Ayers. He grew up in Pembroke, Maine, and later lived in Connecticut, New York and Florida.

He did not ask for much: guns, boats, a Harley, dually fifth wheel camper, and lastly, a bulldozer!
