There is one thing I think we can all agree upon right now and that is how important our families and dear friends are to us. Spend time with them and let them know how you feel about them. You never know when tomorrow may not be there to do that. Please continue to pray daily for all those affected by COVID and their families. Chester County has definitely felt the bite from it, but if everyone continues to do their part in mask wearing, hand sanitizing, social distancing and holding small gatherings or just immediate family gatherings, we will hopefully get through this before too much longer. I am past ready for our lives to get back to a more normal state, and I am sure all of you are, too!
Cookies for Cancer will have a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale Special from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or until sold out Saturday, Feb. 13, at Cash Saver. Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Vicky Finley and Michelle Newman on Feb. 5, Krista Cook, Tim Wooley and Buddy Richardson on Feb. 6, Jeremy Cook and Nicole Wooley on Feb. 7, Lynn Cook on Feb. 8, Holly Hemby and Henry Monks on Feb. 10 and Mandy Cooper Futch on Feb. 11.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government, and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Donna Lynch, Donald Smith, Rita Weaver, Mary Morgan Robinson, Elaine Patterson, Jimmy Ruth, Mary Lou Weir Warren, Wayne Monks, Sr., Brenda Ada, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Ann Morrison, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Tyson DeRoss Walker, Grant Braden, Gerene Underwood, Nancy Hopper, Bill Bishop, Pauline Lott, Bill Joe Barker, Dale Rodgers, Montez Grant, Coy Daniel Climer, Darla Gaugh and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
