JIMMY ‘JO BO’ WAMBLE Obituary – March 31, 1956 – Feb. 19, 2021


Jimmy Lee Wamble, 64, of Finger passed away Feb. 19, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Glenn Harris and Ronald Naylor officiating.
Burial followed in Old Friendship Cemetery. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was born March 31, 1956 in the Old Friendship Community of Chester County, the son of the late Raymon and Edith Lorene Davidson Wamble.  He attended Chester County Schools with the class of 1974.
He farmed as a young man and worked for TJ&L Construction. He worked for Barclay Trucking carrying the U.S. Mail from 1990 until 2010. He had served as Chester County Commissioner on the County Court. He was a member of the Old Friendship Baptist Church. He spent some of his winters in South Texas. For many years he visited the elderly, particularly at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center. Jimmy Lee loved “Old People.”  
He is survived by a sister, Mary Alice (Danny) Oliver of Humboldt, and one brother, Jere Neal (Ella) Wamble of Finger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Floyd Allen Wamble, Feb. 2, 2021.
