We are approaching Easter, and I would like to send out a special invitation to all who do not have a home church to services at Liberty Grove Baptist Church at 1071 Harts Bridge Rd., Jackson. The sunrise service will be at 7 a.m. with a simple breakfast to follow and lead into 9 a.m. Sunday School and 11 a.m. Easter Worship. All you young boys and girls should be on the lookout for the Easter Bunny to be hopping through Chester County to deliver Easter goodies.
Praying for all the storm victims in our surrounding areas. I am thankful that Chester County was spared from the wrath of the storms that passed through our area last weekend. You never want to hear about the deaths that go along with some of the severe weather we receive, but the best thing to do is heed all warnings that go out and never assume you can ride out the storm. All of us live under numbered days, and we simply need to know our life is right with God to have an assurance of an Everlasting life in heaven.
Montezuma sends out a very happy belated birthday wish to Elmer Maness for March 13 (sorry it is so late). Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Carrie Jester on April 2, Peggy Weaver on April 3 and Jo Ellis on April 5. With so much unrest in our Country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Brenda Williams Lambert, Linda Plunk, Barbara Weaver, Ruby Hannah, Jimmy Ruth, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Ann Morrison, Healthcare Workers and Law Enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Imogene Harris, Vala Garrett Cartwright, Lloyd Sherril Jones, Jr. and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
