On Wednesday, March 31, Chester County High School’s Sydnie Quarles signed with Dyersburg State Community College to continue her soccer career.
While at Chester County, she has been a leader on the girls soccer team.
CCHS Girls Soccer Head Coach Jason Judd complimented Quarles on her team mentality, determination and how she is as a person.
“Sydnie is a great team player, hard worker and can play any position,” he said. “More importantly, she is a great person. Her leadership for Chester County will be missed.”
Those same qualities of being a team player and hard worker are why DSCC Women’s Soccer Head Coach Robert Luttrell said, “She is exactly the type of player I would love to build a program with at Dyersburg State.”
“I’ve known Sydnie as a player for about five years, so I’ve been a fan of hers for that long. She’s a team first type of player that works extremely hard to put herself in position to be successful on and off the field,” Luttrell said. “She is going to really help us.”
