Good day to all you wonderful readers.
I pray this day is finding you well and that you are enjoying life. We all have so much to be grateful for, yet we sometimes do not see all the good around us for the dark clouds that sometimes lurk over us. Our attitude can carry through to others around us, and we need to sometimes take a step back and check our heart. I just experienced a bit of a trying week with my husband having an injured leg and not able to do anything but keep it elevated. We have been to multiple doctor appointments to still be waiting for them to figure out what is wrong. I am sure there is a lesson within this for me to learn something, but while it is happening, it is hard to see. I think we can all say that we never know what tomorrow will bring so make the best of today.
Cookies for Cancer will be hosting a Mother’s Day Special again this year. All you need to do is submit why your grandma, mom, aunt or whoever was your role model of a mother to be selected as Mother of the Year for 2021. Submit a short essay with your reason to Beth Sappington Everett’s Facebook page or private message by April 29. We will be choosing a Mother of the Year on April 30. This year will also have a runner up. Gifts will be a flower bouquet from Essary’s Florist, lots of special coupons from local merchants and a few extra surprises. There will also be an Honorable Mother chosen that has made an impact on the people, families or community of Chester County that is no longer with us to have a beautiful plaque from Oliver’s presented to the family. Send in your submissions as soon as possible.
