Two Chester County 4-H students recently competed in the Western Region 4-H Horse Show. The event was held at the West Tennessee Agriculture Pavilion on the campus of UT Martin on June 4-5, 2021. Paige Lofton and Alayna Williams both students at Chester County Junior High faced the best competition in the western region. The region consists of 33 counties in west and middle Tennessee.
Paige Lofton and her horse Amsalor competed in several hunter classes, taking first place in the hunter mare’s class. Alayna Williams competed in the speed classes with her horses Chip and Henry. Alayna received second place in junior flag and junior barrel. We are very proud of Alayna and Paige for their hard work and success with their horse projects this year. Thanks go out to the families who make all this possible by supporting their kids and encouraging them to participate in 4-H.
Experience the fun of 4-H camp right here in Chester County on June 29. This camp is for fourth-sixth grade students as of Jan. 1, 2021.
