The Chester County Youth Theatre put on Disney’s Frozen Jr. on June 25-26 and it was a magical show.
From cast to wardrobe, to makeup and more, the audience of friends and family enjoyed it so much.
Over 1,000 people came out to watch young actors and actresses put on this performance, and $13,000 was raised for CCYT.
“Thank you to the community of Henderson for the over 1,000 people in attendance of our shows and helping us raise $13,000 for Chester County Youth Theater,” CCYT Director Becky Hartle said. “I couldn’t help but to think about how God has blessed me tremendously with giving me exactly the right people and opportunities to make CCYT grow each and every year. I thank Him for it all. I thank Henderson for the love and support of the arts and our CC kids since the very beginning.”
The bond she had with the campers added to the magical experience she said.
“Frozen Jr. was more than just a magical show. It was a magical experience as we bonded so quickly into our Theater family,” she said. “I have been so blessed to hang out with these awesome campers led by my incredible staff for the past two weeks and I miss all of them already.”
The performance of Frozen Jr. marked a special year for Hartle.
“This was a special year as the last of my kids that started this wild ride with me doing Lion King Kids in 2016 have officially aged out. It has been a privilege to watch them grow over the past several years into incredible actors but most importantly as wonderful leaders to my younger campers. These 14 kids that aged out of my camp will always hold a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to see what great things they do next,” Hartle said.
