Hello from Enville!
I hope everyone enjoyed their July 4 holiday! We were at the river with family, grilling and smoking Boston butt. It all was so delicious. Of course, we all ate too much but managed to save some room for desserts and ice cream. I hope each of you enjoyed family and friends! The weather has been nice, and we had some much needed rain. Our garden really looks better and is growing well.
Save the date! There will be a big celebration for a special lady in Enville on July 17. Inez Cash will be celebrating her 100th birthday with a party at the Enville Community Center. This will be from 1-4 p.m., so come and help Mrs. Inez enjoy her special day. I also saw where the Chester County Senior Center is requesting 100 birthday cards be sent or dropped off at the center for Inez Cash. They need them by the end of the day on July 15. You can mail them to Chester County Senior Center c/o Inez Cash 247 E. Main Street Henderson, TN 38340.
Mark your calendar for Aug. 28 for the Enville Wild Goose Shindig. We will have lots of fun, food, music and fellowship. Everyone is invited!
Happy birthday wishes go to Danny Williams on July 10; Kaye Ritter, Brittany Finley and Charlie Rose Blackman on July 12; and Charlie Cona, Alaina Jones and Bentley Olivia Hinson on July 15. If you see these folks out and about, give them a big shout out. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
We wish all the softball and baseball teams playing for state championships the best of luck. Congratulations to all! Our grandchildren all returned home from their camps. They had a great time!
