Chester County Chamber announces 2021 BBQ Fest events


The Henderson|Chester County Chamber of Commerce will kick off the 43rd Annual Chester County BBQ Festival presented by Centennial Bank Friday, Sept. 24.

A list of current events scheduled are as follows:
Saturday, Sept. 18 – I AM THEY will be performed at 7 p.m. at Williams Auditorium. Tickets are available at or at the box office at the Henderson | Chester County Chamber of Commerce located at 111 East Main Street.
Sunday, Sept. 19 – The Miss Chester County BBQ Festival Scholarship Competition, sponsored by Aeneas and powered by STEMC, will be held at 6 p.m. at Williams Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Monday, Sept. 20 – The Chester County BBQ Festival’s Hometown Heroes Parade will be sponsored by Freed-Hardeman University. It will begin at 6 p.m. at White Avenue and head west to Front Street.
Thursday, Sept. 23 – The Henderson Arts Commission Evening Concert on the Courthouse Lawn
Friday, Sept. 24 – There will be the Touchstone Hot Air Balloon sponsored by STEMC from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, and from 9 a.m. to noon and 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25. This event is weather dependent.
The Chester County BBQ Festival Talent Show for adults and youth will be held at 7 p.m. Friday on the E & T Contracting Main Stage.
Saturday, Sept. 25 – Enjoy Tea with a Princess from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Sue Shelton White Park, sponsored by Southern Chic Spatique. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.
The Oinkin’ Dunkin’ Booth sponsored by Centennial Bank will take place Saturday.
Visit the Swine and Shine Cruise-In, sponsored by The Peoples Bank from 4-7 p.m. Saturday on Front Street for classic cars, trucks, Jeeps, ATVs and motorcycles.
Tim Young and the Hot Wired Band will be live at 7 p.m. Saturday on the E & T Contracting Main Stage.
Enjoy all the sweet treats from the food vendors at the festival, and relax at the Eating Tent provided by FirstBank. Open all day Friday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 25.
