Ailiene Cain Obituary – SEPT. 9, 2021


Ailiene Harris Cain, 73, of Pinson passed away Thursday evening at her home. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Glenn Harris officiating.
Burial followed at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Crook Avenue and from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at Crook Avenue.
She was born in Chester County and grew up in Deanburg, daughter of the late Willie Virgil Harris Sr. and Margaret Edith Hearn Harris. She attended school at Deanburg.
She married Larry Dutro Cain in 1964. They made their home at Pinson most of their married life. She worked at Jackson Clinic, Weber Costello, Tennessee Corrugated and Kirby Container. Mr. Cain died in 2004. She enjoyed doing for others and was very involved in church activities at Bear Creek Methodist Church.
She is survived by son, Larry Cain of Pinson; daughter, Brandy Cain of Pinson; sisters, Dot Bratcher of Jackson and Linda Blankenship of Decatur, Ala.; and grandchildren, Levi Cain, Mason Cain, and Daisy Cain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Ray Harris, Junior Harris, James Ward Harris, Joe Raymond Harris and Paul Harris, and sister, Mary Francis Grimm.
