Hello from Chester County High School. This week’s spotlight sport is girls soccer. Due to the large number of quarantined students among our girls as well as opposing teams, they have not had the opportunity to play many of their scheduled games. The Lady Eagles are coached by Jason Judd and Staci Irwin. Seniors are Dafne Perez, Anna Worthey and Hanna Malone. With only three seniors and three juniors, this young team will have seven sophomores and thirteen freshmen returning next season. Very good things are in store for the Lady Eagles. Please remember to keep the team and Coach Judd in your prayers.
This team has certainly learned to persevere through many hardships. From the loss of teammates, to their coach fighting illness, it has certainly been a struggle for the team. But, they will fight on.
In other news, the football team is celebrating a HUGE win against Adamsville last Friday night. They won 41-14 over the Cardinals. The team was led by strong efforts from Quarterback Tony Washington and Running Back Ellis Patterson. They play this Friday against Hardin County at home.
As always, I want to thank Chester County and the city of Henderson for their continued support of CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!!!
