Hello from Enville! I hope you all had a great week. We have had the rain. As for me, it can stop for a little while. I am ready for it to dry up because I will need to mow when it does. I did not get to last week. Fall is here, and the weather reporters say we will have some fall like temperatures this week, which is fine by me!
Many local youth exhibited their animals at The Henderson Country Fair last week. Congratulations to Sydney Cherry for winning Reserve Champion Hereford Heifer and congratulations to Bristol Cherry for winning Grand Champion Hereford Heifer and Supreme Heifer-Hereford Heifer. These sisters work very hard and are dedicated to their animals, and it shows. We are very proud of you both. Congratulations to all the winners and their animals!
Please pray for Eugene Springer, Alice Starnes, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Lisa Bishop, Amanda Johnson, Gail Durbin, Shirley Hampton, Roy Middleton, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Mary Lee Guyon, Agnes Smith, Linda and Robert Johnson, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Jo Marie Holmes, Janice and Danny Keen, Jimmy Robertson, Genny Sue Martin, Tim Harris, Mitch Maness, Roger Henson, those who have lost loved ones, those battling COVID and other illnesses, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers and military, our schools, our country and, as always, each other.
Happy Birthday wishes go to Julie Smith, Jo Mc Mahan, Toby Willis on Sept. 25, Lisa Finley on Sept. 26 and Nicholas Maness on Sept. 28. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
If anyone has news or birthdays to share, call me at 608-3058. We like to know what our Enville youth are accomplishing and recognize them. If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a blessed week everyone!
