The Chester County Boys Golf team will now be advancing to state after coming home with the first place Regionals plaque that they won on Monday Sept. 27. The team placed first in the Region sending them to state at Sevierville Golf Club next Thursday and Friday to compete for the state title. The boys were led by strong scores from Austin Ketchum (77) and McKinley Hopkins (82). “It has been a great year with this group of young men,” said Head Coach Colby Brown. “They have worked so hard and shown improvement every match. The best part is this is still a young team and has a bright future for the next several years.” We hope to continue to build off the success of this group and continue to grow the game of golf in our community.
