Tenn. Sports Hall of Fame offers free admission through December


The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, in partnership with Farm Bureau Health Plans of Tennessee, will offer free admission to visitors now through Dec. 31. Visitors can explore displays on College Football, College Basketball, Tennessee Olympians, Auto Racing and more, plus learn about individuals like Peyton Manning, Wilma Rudolph, Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Pat Summitt and others. Additionally, visitors can see new memorabilia from the Class of 2021 and many others who have impacted the history of sports in Tennessee.
“We’re excited to partner with Farm Bureau Health Plans to provide free admission over the next three months to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame,” said TSHF Executive Director Brad Willis. “Great partnerships like this one allow more people to visit our museum and learn about the great heritage of sports in our state.”
Additionally, the Hall recently announced Tennessee Talk of Fame, a speaker series video podcast of conversations with Tennessee Sports Hall of Famers. The first episode featured special guest Blaine Bishop, a 2018 Tennessee Sports Hall of Famer, former Tennessee Titan and three-time All Pro Safety. The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and is located inside Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. Established in 1966, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame enshrines and honors athletes, teams, coaches, sports writers and sports administrators who have made an impact on the history of Tennessee sports. The Hall serves as a platform to connect athletes, coaches, sports fans, and supporters by acknowledging life achievements implemented through sports. The Hall celebrates athletes of all forms, from all across the state. Additionally, Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame aspires to educate youth about the importance of healthy habits and the positive impact they have on lifestyle choices.
