ROGER CROUSE Obituary – SEPT. 18, 1951 – OCT. 4, 2021


Roger Wayne Crouse, 70, of Henderson passed away Oct. 4, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were 3 p.m. Friday at Cave Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial followed in Cave Springs Cemetery. The family received friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.
He was born Sept. 18, 1951 in Jackson, the son of Joyce Faye Beshires Crouse and the late Earl Franklin Crouse. He grew up in the Montezuma area of Chester County and was a 1969 graduate of Chester County High School. He married Sandra Kay Moss on Jan. 18, 1974. They made their home in Chester County.
He was a brick mason for 44 years and farmed with his sons since he retired in 2014.
He enjoyed hunting squirrels, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren, riding them around on four wheelers and watching them play sports.
He was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Moss Crouse of Henderson; two sons, Jason Crouse and Bradley (Candace) Crouse of Henderson; six grandchildren, Tate Crouse, Anna Crouse, Knox Crouse, Maddox Crouse, Chase Crouse and Chance Crouse; a brother, Randy (Leigh) Crouse of Henderson; and one sister, Angie Michelle Evans of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his father and a twin brother, Robert Lane Crouse.
