News from the Deanburg Community of Chester County

with Carolyn Goff

Greetings again from Deanburg.
I hope you have all had a grand week enjoying the beauty God had blessed us with! The trees have been so colorful, but they are all in my yard now!
Happy birthday to Shirley Reddinger on Nov. 23 and Nancy Snider on Nov. 25.
Remember our sick, elderly, first responders, health care workers, and our country in your prayers this week.
“What is it about Autumn? There seems a common delight, brought on by the shortening of days, flanked by cool, crisp mornings where dews fill the meadows awaiting the rising sun to chase them away, and evenings where dinner time slips peacefully into twilights of orange and ash grey as wood smoke hangs wistfully in the air.”
This quote is from a larger post titled “Thankful for October” written by Marc K. Ensign. It is a wonderful peace that describes the beauty of autumn. You can read the full post at
I wish you all a wonderful week with family and friends. Happy thanksgiving! God bless each of you!
