Chester County High School Beta members participate in state competition

National Beta members from CCHS are celebrating their recent participation in the Tennessee Senior Beta State Convention that was held November 18-20. They were announced as winners of the following competitions:
First place Onsite Drawing: Brenna Baughman
Second place Science Academics: Hayleigh Smith
Fourth place Candidate Skit
Fifth place Onsite Painting: Chance Thompson
Fifth place Spanish Academics: Stephanie Gutierrez
Fifth place Digital Art: Jayla Gateley
Fifth place Robotics Showcase: Jackson Knoell, Matthew Mutter, Aiden Timby, Tyler Timby and Reese Young
National Beta State Convention allows students the opportunity to compete in various academic and STEM-based, and performing arts competitions. These victories at the state level provide(s) an opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee during Summer 2022.
The CCHS Beta club had 75 of the 164 members attend. The Beta club is co-sponsored by Colby Brown and Ally Rogers. Rogers said, “Out of the numerous Beta conventions I have attended, this has to be one of the very best!”
