Hickory Corner community celebrates homecoming
Photos By: Kara Crump, CCI
The Hickory Corner Homecoming was held Saturday, May 18, at Hickory Corner Community Center. Jerry Lowe and Clifton Reaves, pictured on stage, from left, began the event with several songs as everyone sat, gathered and ate together. Burgers were available for $1 and were widely popular throughout the event.
Saturday’s Hickory Corner Homecoming featured a cake auction, candidate speeches, cake walk and a silent auction. The highest bid during the cake auction on a single cake was $150. Pictured above, Phillip Cranford (left) was the Auctioneer for the Cake Walk, while Donny Patterson helped pass out the cakes to the highest bidders.
