Library Closings and Events 
December Book Sale
Every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
– Storytime recording is available. Visit our Facebook page for the link to that week’s storytime. Videos may be viewed at any time. Activity packs are available for children in the library.
December 3 – Close at 6 p.m. for the Christmas Parade
December 13-20 – Technology Trainings (see below)
December 23 – Closing at 12:30 in observance of Christmas
December 24-26– Closed in observance of Christmas 
December 31 – Closing at 3:30 pm in observance of New Years
Technology Trainings* 
The library has been fortunate enough to receive a grant through the State of Tenn. to offer technology trainings to its patrons. For December, the following trainings will be available from December 13-20: Publisher Basics, How to Create a Newsletter and Google Docs Basics. The training will be offered virtually and available all week. Training videos may be accessed from the comfort of patrons’ own homes or at the library. Viewers will also have the opportunity to ask the trainer questions after viewing the training and the library will provide resources to help you maximize your knowledge! *Call 731-989-4673 or email library@chestercountylibrary.net to register
December Book Sale 
Beginning on December 1, 2020, the library will be hosting a book sale! Due to COVID-19, the following restrictions will take place: 1 – No more than two families may browse each section of the book sale at a time. 2 – Gloves will be available to wear while browsing if desired. Used gloves should be thrown away in the trash can at the front of the library. 3 – Bags for the Bag of Books Bargain are available at the front desk. 4 – The library strongly recommends that masks are worn, but it is not required. 5 – The library asks that customers sanitize their hands before and after entering the library.  
Prices are as follows:  
Hardback Books- $0.25; Paperback Books- $0.50; Audio books- $2; CDs- $1; VHS Tapes– Free; DVDs- $1; TV Seasons- $2 for two discs or $3 for three discs or more; Bag of Books (books ONLY)- $3
Library COVID-19 Update 
All information is as of December 1, 2020. The library is currently restricting access to no more than 25 individuals in the library at a time. We strongly recommend that you wear a mask but it is not required. Patrons can browse the shelves for materials and may select their own books, DVDs, or audio books. We are still offering curbside pickup and contactless delivery by use of our online registration system. We have four computers available for use – no appointments are necessary. There is still an one hour time limit on all computer sessions and we request that all patrons limit their time in the library to one hour.
