Almeda Pauline DeBerry, 95, died at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Ind., with Funeral Services beginning at 2 p.m.
She will be buried next to her husband at Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 11550 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN 46032.
She was born Oct. 18, 1924 to Paul Leroy Unwin and Monie Agness Unwin. She married Lloyd Parvin DeBerry on Jan. 8, 1948 in Corinth, Miss. She was a member of Fishers Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Loyde (Sharon) DeBerry; daughter-in-law, Cindy DeBerry; grandchildren, Alicia (Curtis) Garrison, Angie (Joe) Kmitta, Amanda (Brad) Baker, Mike (Lindsey) DeBerry, Andrea (David) Thompson, Kellye DeBerry, Melissa DeBerry, Vanessa DeBerry, Kassandra DeBerry, Brianna DeBerry, Savanna DeBerry and Aurora DeBerry; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Parvin DeBerry; son, Royce Unwin DeBerry; mother and father, Paul Leroy Unwin and Monie Agness Unwin; and three sisters, Imogene Holder, Inetha Harville and Idell Unwin.
