‘Animals in disasters’ class

The City of Henderson Fire Department will be hosting a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class on animals in disasters called “Animal Mods I and II” beginning at 2 p.m. February 19. This is a three-hour (approx.) course offered by Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA). Animal Mods is presented in an effort to educate and train the community, in order to prepare for disaster. Participants will receive a certificate from TEMA.
There is no cost for attendance. It is open to the public, however space is limited. Those who wish to attend should contact Deputy Chief Kevin Roeder at kroeder@hendersontn.gov.
