THP to conduct sobriety checkpoint Aug. 30
The Tennessee Highway Patrol along with the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 10 p.m. until midnight, Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 for all vehicles on State Route 100, east of Talley Store Road.
According to www.tn.gov, “Driving Under the Influence (DUI) includes not only alcohol, but any intoxicant, narcotic drug or other drug producing central nervous system effects – including prescription drugs.”
