The 46th Annual Chester County BBQ Festival drew a large crowd despite a week’s rain delay. Pictured above left, Ashlee Surratt, of Henderson, became the 2024 winner of the annual Tennessee Hog Calling Championship at the 46th annual BBQ Festival. Surratt and Marcus Williams (2023’s Tennessee Hog Calling Championship winner) tied and competed against each other in a “sudden death” round. Williams took home second place with a $500 prize, and Surratt took home first with the trophy and a $1,000 prize on Saturday, October 5. Pictured at right, Madison Bell, of Wildersville, took home first prize in Friday’s Adult Talent Show.
