A total of 291 Bethel University students have completed the requirements for fall graduation 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, commencement for the graduates will take place in conjunction with the spring commencement in May 2021.
“Graduation is a special time,” said Bethel University President Walter Butler. “It’s a celebration of a culmination of commitment, hard work and learning. I am so proud of these young men and women and excited for the impact that they will have in their careers, communities and families.”
Henderson natives Darwin Kelly and Katelynn Pratt graduated.
Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Pratt graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors.
Bethel also announced Bethel University’s College of Arts & Sciences and College of Health Sciences Fall Semester 2020 Honor Roll and Dean’s List student achievements.
“Congratulations to all of you and thank you for making us proud! This fall semester you conquered the challenges and persevered. I have no doubt that you will continue to impress us with your achievements in the years to come,” Butler said.
To qualify for the Honor Roll, undergraduates must have completed 12 or more hours of academic work with an average GPA of 3.7 or above and no grade lower than a “C.”
To qualify for Bethel’s Dean’s List, undergraduates must have completed 12 or more hours of academic work with an average GPA of 3.5 – 3.69 and no grade lower than a “C.”
Jannah Brittain of Luray was on the Bethel Fall 2020 Honor Roll.
