William Earl ‘Bill’ Shumate, 72, passed away Friday evening, March 29, 2024, at Jackson General Hospital. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Dwight Jones and David Moore officiating. Burial followed at Cave Springs Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. funeral time Monday.
He was born April 27, 1951.
