Bobby Hysmith celebrates 85th birthday

Bobby Hysmith celebrated his 85th birthday Feb. 20 at a dinner hosted by his sons and their wives, Randy and Angelia Hysmith and Tony and Becky Hysmith. The meal was in the home of his grandson Ryan and wife Abby Hysmith with five of Hysmith’s great-grandsons adding to the excitement: Brody, Wyatt, Nolan, Shepard and McCoy. His other grandchildren are Ross Hysmith of Marietta, Ga.; Nathan and wife Laura Hysmith of Nashville and their children James, Foster and Hoyt; and Joel and wife Lindsey Hysmith of College Grove and their children Harper, Henry and Hazel, who joined by phone. Hysmith, a member of the Chester County High School class of 1956 spent his professional career of 43 years with Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake and is now associated with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson.
