McNairy defeats Chester County

The Friday night lights were not much of a crowd pleaser for the Eagles fans as Chester County fell to their rival down Highway 45, McNairy.
The Eagles had trouble scoring the entire first half as they entered halftime 26-0.
However, they ended the half with a good turnover after Trysten Maness caught an interception.
During the second half, they were a different team.
With the final score being 33-13, they managed to hold the Bobcats to just one touchdown and scored two touchdowns.
Eagles Head Coach Steve Robinson said that the team just lacked effort in the first half and in the second half they showed up to play.
“Second half, they just made up their mind that they were gonna play, and when they make up their mind, we can move the ball,” he said. “In the second half we played much better football. We just have to go back and put two halves together. It just comes down to the mentality that we’re going to dominate our opponents. We proved that we can. We just have to do it for four quarters.”
Robinson told the team that they need to give all they can during a game to the point that that afterward, they can barely stand.
That is one of the reasons why he announced the Player of the Week to be Morgan Quarles. Though playing in an unfamiliar position during the game, Robinson said he still played and played hard until he was sore and exhausted.
